I'm back from CIP... Guess what? It "ROCKS"! Well, in one way or another. Haha will let you guys know more about it later in this post.
Our CIP's at Heeren @ 10am. So I arranged for all of us to meet at somerset mrt station @ 9.30am because I'm afraid there will be latecomers. Still, there is. Went to cineleisure basement floor to have breakfast and went over to Heeren @ 10.15am =.= In the end, all of us were considered late. Lol. Never mind. Miss June, person-in-charge of the event, designated us to our respective posts and gave us a short briefing. There are 3 posts; Fund raiser(Jeffrey and Ming Hsien), Booth manager(Kuan Ting), Stage coordinator(Jiaqian, Zhi Hao and Me). My job is very simple; just do as told. Lol. But the problem is, WE GOT NO PLACE TO SIT! So we had to stand almost all the way. I remembered there's this time where Jiaqian, Zhi Hao and I tried to sit and lean against the wall, and this old security guard forbade it. WTF? As if we were in the way of those shoppers. Then we realised there's this bench-like thing that the other volunteers, who came to do CIP too, sat on. OMG! We were like dumbasses standing up for hours and we were complaining about it when we could actually sit there!
Now, why do I say it "ROCKS"? This event that we went for is called Music For Hope, where it's actually a 10 hours music marathon. There's alot of performers from various local music schools, such as Lee Wei Song music school, Music Forest and etc, and there's alot of genres of songs being performed. Be it Pop, Rock, R&B, you name it, they have it. Well another reason why I say it "ROCKS" is because I meant it sarcastically. Lol. Till that day comes... What if, now, I ask you the same question I asked you back then, what will your answer be?
